This horse is a true athlete, having been successful in the reining, ranch, and barrel arenas. He has good bone and feet; and you can’t deny that he’s gorgeous.  But the best thing about him is his mind! He shuts down right after his run and minds his manners around mares. He’s even trustworthy around kids. He was regularly used as a lesson horse for young riders. Brains, beauty and color- all present in his first foal crop (2025).

Jobu came out of the legendary Silver Spurs breeding program and we bought him as a yearling. He is so good minded he was started by his (then) teenage owner Jentry Shandley Vandenberg.  She trained him through the transition from reiner to barrel horse.  They won the third PRCA rodeo they ever entered; and have multiple PRCA wins and placings. And his barrel racing career has just begun!
