PRE-PURCHASE
Risk Assessment Examination
The purpose of a pre-purchase examination is to identify existing findings and assess their potential significance relative to the buyer’s intended use of the horse. The examination includes an evaluation of general health and athletic soundness, with additional diagnostic imaging or testing performed when indicated and authorized by the buyer.
A pre-purchase examination is not a pass-or-fail test or a guarantee of future soundness. Our goal is to provide the buyer with objective information to help make an informed purchasing decision.
