Like Smooth As A Cat himself, his foals are known for their kind dispositions, trainability, talent, and overall drive to please. Whether in cutting, or working cow horse, Smooth As A Cat’s foals are obvious standouts!  Aside from his illustrious show career, his tenure as a Sire has been phenomenal as well. Smooth As A Cat is the only NCHA Horse of the Year to sire 2 NCHA Open Horses of the Year, he is an NRCHA Million Dollar Sire, and as of 9/1/21, Smooth As A Cat’s offspring have won a total of $32 Million.  He was bred and raised on the Manion Ranch in Aubrey, Texas, and is proudly owned by the Manion Family, who consider him to be a member of the family.

His recently reduced stud fee of $2,500 has been regarded among many industry mainstays as being “one of the best deals in the breeding business”.
